The Reality Project

The Reality Project is an anti-tobacco initiative started by Hope Street Youth Development in order to reach the youth of Kansas and increase awareness of the dangers of tobacco and the manipulation tatics of big tobacco companies.

The project will be run by tweleve high school students from the Wichita, KS area with the help of thirty-eight volunteer students from around the state.

Academic Advising

The Academic Program is designed to support students in their efforts toward academic success by providing a full range of educational enrichment opportunities that supplement their existing school learning. We assist students in achieving their short term educational goals, personal goals and aid in the planning for their long goals.  The program provides supervised study time, advising meetings, goal planning, tutoring, college/technical preparation and planning services and parent information sessions.
