Hope Street Youth Development
HSYD was an amazing organization that served young adults in Wichita for over 20 years. After years of strggling to find appropriate funding, the organization leaders made a tough decision to close the organization in July of 2011.
The resources gained from the sale of the building resulted in the creation of a new Non-Profit organization whose focus is serving the very community in which Hope Street thrived for many years. This organization is called Community Outreach Recovery Empowerment.
