Member Duties : The role of the AmeriCorps members would be to serve along side HSYD staff in providing trainings and to accompany students in their experience of civic participation and engagement. Specifically, AmeriCorps members would be building relationships with students, connecting students, leading trainings, teaching students how to do research, assisting with weekly chapter meetings at the high schools and encouraging students to take an active role in their community. Well sometime between May 25 and May 27th the bus was stolen. It puts a real damper on our ability to connect students with the work of being civically engaged. The police have not be able to find it. (Not sure how you can't find a 1968 PINK BUS!) So we need your help.
