ODA-Designed 98 Front in DUMBO Officially Launches Sales

The building had more than 750 leads following its initial announcement this Spring, showing the demand for new condominium product in one of the City’s most sought-after neighborhoods.
The award-winning architecture firm ODA NEW YORK envisioned the luxury condominium’s minimalist architecture. Its concrete facade is inspired by the neighborhood’s industrial history, while its unique cubic structure reflects the design-forward and artistic nature the waterfront area has become known for in recent years. 98 Front’s dramatic, light-flooded lobby features double-height ceilings, crafted custom millwork and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.

The 10-story building is comprised of 165 studio, one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom residences ranging in size from 400 to over 2,000 square feet. The apartments feature 10-foot ceilings and oversized insulated sound-attenuated windows by ALUMIL, which let plenty of natural light in, 8-foot solid core doors and 5-inch-wide hand-selected white oak flooring. Kitchens are outfitted in custom Italian hand selected white oak rift cabinets and feature striking Corian countertops and backsplashes as well as Blum hardware. The residences are equipped with top-of-the-line Bosch appliances, including a paneled refrigerator and dishwasher, gas cooktop, convection oven and speed ovens; in-sink garbage disposals; and Grohe faucets and soap dispensers.

The bathrooms feature oversized showers or Maax tubs, custom Laufen sinks with floating oak shelving, large format Nordic Blanco tiles and marble flooring. There are brushed nickel fixtures by AF New York and large vertical, recessed medicine cabinets and radiant heated floors in all master bathrooms.
98 Front offers an extensive selection of wellness-centered amenities. There are the indoor salt water pool, steam room and spa, while those itching to work up a sweat will have the ability to take refuge in the building’s indoor state-of-the-art fitness center – equipped with Peloton® Exercise Bikes – or a secondary outdoor fitness outpost located on the condominium’s communal rooftop.

Within the building residents will enjoy access to a Residents Lounge, top-of-the-line coworking space. Crowning the development, with the Manhattan skyline as its backdrop, is a massive 7,000-square-foot communal rooftop terrace artfully designed and sectioned off for various activities. It will feature BBQ stations and three separate outdoor kitchens; a bocce ball court; and outdoor screening area, as well as breathtaking City and river views.

Bike storage, on-site parking and resident storage units will also be available for a fee. 98 Front is slated to be completed in the spring of 2020.
